| | Ms Ammira Marlini graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (LLB) from University Malaya in 2014 and she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2015. She then earned her Master of Laws (LLM) degree from her alma mater back in 2019.
Ammira started her career as a litigator, where she had represented various corporations and individuals at all Court levels for civil and criminal litigation, insolvency matters, labour and industrial disputes. In 2018, she worked as a Legal Consultant for a Japanese consulting company in Kuala Lumpur, where she offered advice and expertise to Japanese companies in Malaysia on regulatory compliance, due diligence, intellectual property, and employment related matters.
Prior to joining MEF, Ammira was an in-house Industrial Relations counsel for one of the prominent healthcare providers in Kuala Lumpur. She also served as a legal representative for the Clinical Research and Ethics Committee and a Risk Assessment Committee of the organization.
Ammira is passionate about industrial relations and employment related matters, which has become her niche areas. She is experienced in conducting in-house trainings on employment laws, managing employee discipline and performance management. She also has experience in conducting domestic inquiry, representing companies at conciliation meetings, drafting employment handbook and employment agreements, reviewing collective agreements and collective bargaining.
At MEF, Ammira will be providing consultancy and advisory assistance to member companies on all aspects of employment related matters, and representing member companies at conciliation proceedings, labour office and industrial courts.
