The Employment Act 1955 is a fundamental employment law which provides the minimum terms and conditions of employment to any person who is an "Employee" under a contract of service. The amendments to Employment Act 1955 was gazetted on 10th May 2022 vide the Employment (Amendment) Act 2022 (Act A1651) and is enforced with effect from 1st January 2023 vide a Gazette Notification P.U.(B) 394 dated 29th August 2022.
OBJECTIVE OF SEMINAR Is to update participants on the latest amendments and to provide practical guides on the implementation of the Employment Act 1955 as amended on 1st September 2022 which will have serious economic impact on employers in doing business.
