Introduction & Objectives
The Amendments to the existing Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) namely as Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) 2022 were passed on 27th October 2021 by the Malaysian parliament and were gazetted on 16th March 2022. They extend the scope of applicability to all places of work in Malaysia, including public services and authorities. Employers will have to take a pragmatic approach and ensure a safe working environment for employees who work on site or from home. This includes considering on the “Self-Regulatory” approach by adopting OSH Management System (OSHMS) in their organization as the enforcement of OSH (Amendment) Act 2022 shall take place anytime soon.
The objectives of the webinar are:
•   Understand OSH (Amendment) Act 2022.
•   Plan for Self-Regulatory compliance in line with OSHMP 2025 perspective.
•   Understand the implementation of OSH Management System (OSH-MS)
•   Know how to manage OSH risk and coordinate OSH program and design 
    OSH Risk Assessment in accordance to ISO 45001:2018 perspective.
By attending the seminar, participants will be more equipped to implement OSH Management System effectively, in line with Self-Regulatory approach and incompliance with the OSH (Amendment) Act 2022.
