INTRODUCTION
Enterprises should have exemplary Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) performance to ensure the protection of all people affected by work activities. Employers should have systems for assessing and controlling risks, aimed at preventing harm to people from work-related incidents and accidents, thereby minimizing absences from work and disruption to processes, services and communities.
The efficient management of OSH risks is best achieved by instilling a safety culture within the organization, adopting a preventative approach, installing effective internal training systems, applying risk management and control principles aligning OSH intervention with other business operations.
