OVERVIEW
The hotel industry recovery from the recent global pandemic continues to be the main concern for hotel owners and operators. Hoteliers have to navigate operational challenges due to labor shortages, rising costs and impact of labour law amendments in Malaysia. With the domestic and international tourism regaining momentum, Malaysia’s hospitality industry needs to continually adapt to the legal and business requirements, simultaneously meeting the shifting trends of consumer and tourists demands.
OBJECTIVES
This Hotelier Conference organised by the Malaysian Employers Federation / MEF Academy and the Association of Hotel Employers (AHE) combines the business challenges and legal issues faced by the hotel sector. With the support of Presidents of the Hotel Associations and Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia as well as eminent Speakers from the industry, this Conference will cover the employment, industrial relations and union issues whilst addressing the business challenges of tourism, hospitality, yield management and other issues affecting the hotel industry.
