MISS PREMA KESAVAN graduated with an LL.B ( Hons) from University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. She completed her law degree in the United Kingdom in 1993 and returned to Malaysia. Upon her return she taught at Stamford College and Rima College various law and business related subjects for various levels and departments between the years 1994 - 2001.
She also freelanced with Malayan Law Journal ( MLJ ). She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma ( PgDip ) in Marketing from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, United Kingdom and a Diploma in Arbitration.
Miss Prema Kesavan's main role at MEF is to provide advisory services to member companies on Industrial Relations and labour related matters, represent member companies at the Industrial Court and Jabatan Tenaga Kerja mainly with regards to dismissal cases, constructive dismissal cases, force resignation cases, termination benefit cases.
Miss Prema Kesavan is a registered HRDF trainer. She conducts trainings on the following topics Employment Act, Criminal Misconduct in Employment, Disciplinary Procedure, Managing absenteeism in employment, Writing of contracts of employment.
Miss Prema Kesavan is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators.
