“Generally every employee is exposed to hazards at work. However not many are aware of the threats posed by these hazards that could harm and endanger life. It is therefore important for organizations to conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). The organizations that have carried out HIRARC reported positive change and reduced the risks. This training aims to deliberate the systematic and objective approach on HIRARC with reference to the published Department of OSH Guidelines for Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control, 2008."
 
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the 2-day training, the participants should be
able to:
• Identify physical hazards at work;
• Analyze and Estimate risk of the identified hazards;
• Select a suitable control ; and
• Conduct documenting process.

Trainer
ANIS FAHMY PAUZI holds a MASTER OF SCIENCE degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He has been practicing safety and health for 22 years. In his early carrier, he served NIOSH as a trainer before joining the Malaysian Employers Federation.
Currently he is . At the national level he represents MEF in the National OSH Audit Sub-Committee, under the purview of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health. Among his contributions include the Consultant- OSH with the MEF. Among his involvement in developing OSH documents includes Guidelines on OSH Act 1994 and Buku Garispanduan OSH, Ministry of Health.
