​MEF conducted the Survey in April 2014 to obtain feedback from members in the Klang Valley area on the impact of water rationing to the companies in the affected areas. The Survey findings revealed that 66 per cent of the respondent companies were affected by the water rationing. 32.1 per cent of the respondent companies were affected by the water rationing more than 12 days, 11.3 per cent were affected for 2 days and 22.6 per cent were affected between 6 to 10 days. Majority of the respondent companies suggested that the Government should provide incentives for investments in projects such as water conservation projects, rainwater harvesting or ground water extraction.
