Court Representation
MEF Industrial Relations Consultants also appear on behalf of members at Industrial Court proceedings, Labour Court hearings, collective bargaining and conciliation meetings. MEF Industrial Relations Consultants have the locus standi (legal standing) to represent MEF members in Conciliation meetings at the Industrial Relations Department, as well as in Labour and Industrial Courts.

REGIONAL MEETINGS
Monthly meetings are held in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, North Johor, Ipoh, Penang, Kuantan, Sabah, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Kuching on a predetermined date where members discuss matters of general and particular interest. An Industrial Relations Consultant is in attendance to render the necessary advice and guidance. An exchange of experience among members would enable them to deal more effectively with various employment problems. Periodically, MEF invites distinguished industry experts as guest speakers to impart insights on the latest advancements in Human Resources (HR) and Industrial Relations (IR). Bimonthly, there will be a meeting among HR practitioners in the Hotel industry to discuss topical issues related to the industry. These meetings are held in collaboration with Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) & Association of Hotel Employers (AHE).
