DATUK HJ SHAMSUDDIN BARDAN heads the MEF Secretariat team comprising of 30 professional and 20 support staff that manages the Federation which currently has 6,200 ordinary members and 28 association members that collectively employ more than 2.9 million employees.

As Executive Director, Datuk Hj Shamsuddin identifies, recommends and pursues business-friendly policies to the Government with a view to enhance the overall productivity and competitiveness of Malaysia.

Datuk Hj. Shamsuddin’s contributions had also received international and regional recognition following his appointments as the Secretary-General of Confederation of Asia Pacific Employers (CAPE) and Secretary-General of ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE) (2013 – 2015).
