Please be informed that with effect from 1 March 2014, the Online Services offered by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDNM) to the tax payers will be operational. e-Filing is a free service provided by LHDNM to enable taxpayers to submit their Borang Nyata Cukai Pendapatan (BNCP) electronically via the internet.
The m-Filing was upgraded with the following additional functions:-
i. PIN application
ii. First time login
iii. Login to m-BE for Assessment Year 2013
iv. Change password
v. Forgot password
vi. Verification (e-BE)
vii. Verification of Digital Certificate
viii. Change of password indicator
With m-Filing, it will be easier for taxpayers to file and submit their BNCP using smartphones apps. Requirements for e-Filing are:-
• Web browsers of mobile devices
• Network mode: WAP, GPRS, EDGE or 3G
Smartphones that are supported for this service are:-
• iPhone and iPad with iOS version 4.0 and above
• Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread) and above
• BlackBerry (OS6 and above) and Playbook
• Windows Phone version 7.0 and above, 7.5 (Mango) is recommended
The payment of outstanding tax can be submitted via e-Bayaran before the last date of submitting the forms i.e. before 30 April 2014. The address for e-Bayaran is https://epayment.hasil.gov.my.
Employers are encouraged to inform their employees of these services and encourage their employees to use these online services to submit their income tax forms i.e. e-BE, e-B/e-BT, e-M/e-MT, e-E and e-P.
