In exercise of the powers conferred by section 98 of the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 [Act 4], the Minister makes the following notification:
Citation and commencement
1. (1) This notification may be cited as the Employees’ Social Security (Exemption of Foreign Workers) (Revocation) Notification 2018.
(2) This Notification comes into operation on 1 January 2019.
Revocation
2. The Employees’ Social Security (Exemption of Foreign Workers) Notification 1993 [P.U. (A) 56/1993] is revoked.
Saving
3. Notwithstanding the revocation of the Employees’ Social Security (Exemption of Foreign Workers) Notification 1993, subparagraphs 3(b), (c) and (d) of the revoked Notification shall continue to remain in operation after the coming into operation of this Notification.
