MEF trusts that New Unity Government of YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will instill Confidence of The Rakyat and BusinessesFriday, 2 December 2022

​PETALING JAYA: YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has named his Unity Government Cabinet line-up which is a blend of experienced and new cabinet members. YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will also be the Finance Minister. Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof were appointed as Deputy Prime Ministers in YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Cabinet line-up.

MEF President Datuk Dr Syed Hussain Syed Husman PJN JP congratulates all the YB Ministers who are appointed in YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim newly formed Cabinet. All the newly appointed members of Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim cabinet have the qualities that are necessary such as being intellectual, transparent and hands on with current issues.

Datuk Dr Syed Hussain states that “MEF hopes that the new cabinet members will all be hardworking and always feel for the Rakyat , businesses and the nation. It is important for the cabinet members to always listen to the views and needs of the stakeholders and analyse of being sensitive to what all the stake holders are saying. The Ministers should always treat any issue with urgency and be action oriented. It is also important that the Ministers have the necessary competency and experience in the field that they are appointed.”

“MEF trusts the judgement and choice of the YAB PM that has taken into account all the required qualities when appointing his Cabinet members. MEF pledges to work together with the new Cabinet to ensure that the wellbeing of the the rakyat and the nation are safe guarded. MEF believes that the newly appointed cabinet members will work with the YAB PM for the success of the Nation and the interests of the rakyat , employees and employers.”

MEF welcomes the establishment of the Economic Ministry headed by YB Tuan Mohd Rafizi bin Ramli. It is high time that the nation focus on expanding the economic cake so that the rakyat, employees and businesses will all benefit. The appointment of the YB Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz as the Minister of MITI will be able to attract more multinationals to invest in Malaysia. MEF hopes that PEMUDAH which is under the purview of MITI will further introduce new and improved business processes to facilitate the private sector.

Datuk Dr Syed Hussain specifically congratulates and welcomes YB Tuan Sivakumar A/L Varatharaju Naidu, the newly appointed Minister of Human Resources. MEF hopes that YB Tuan Sivakumar will strengthen tripartism as the pillar of the country’s industrial harmony. MEF is confident that YB Tuan Sivakumar will always consult all the stakeholders and strengthened existing tripartite institutions such as the National Labour Advisory Council ,National Minimum Wages Council and Skills Development Council. The issues on shortage of workers also need to be addressed urgently.
